well, i didn't want to make you guys wait any longer, so i've released what i have developed so far.  i imagine re3 will be in beta mode for some time while i continue to develop it and gather your feedback.  however, it is fairly stable and functional as is, and i imagine many of you will be able to use it in place of re2 already
